Fun

Parents & coaches should create an environment of fun for their young kids when practicing new skills

This will allow them to move freely, unlock degrees of freedom to improve coordination, and allow the CNS to self-organize in order to learn skills more efficiently

Giving them feedback is useful, but getting mad at them for not performing skills at a high level as a kid is just going to shut them down and not create an optimal environment for learning

Think about the fun older sibling or cousin. They go play with the kids and let them have fun and explore new skills that they probably wouldn’t work on in a strict environment

There’s a time and a place for working fundamentals and teaching lessons of attentional focus, but let kids have fun
